The first day of the semester for my Digital Literacies II class, we took a trip across the breezeway to the Grandberry building. The purpose of our mini field trip was to look at the buildings new musuem. In the musuem the equipment is what I like to refer to as old media. There is equipment in the musuem that is also apart of new media.
So my instructor asked that each of the students pick a piece to write about. I chose the Bell & Howell FILMSOUND Model 535 Projector. This projector works almost as a film but it has pictures moving that can have sound. I found this piece interesting because its compartments and its bulitd was fascinating.
