Powerpoint

Having PowerPoint has allowed people to become creative with their presentations.  There are a variety of tools people can use when creating a PowerPoint. You are able to create transition slides, incorporate art, images from your phone and or computer.  You can also have a color scheme and different ways for images or words to come into the slide.  In class i watched a mini clip of someone making jokes about PowerPoint.  The comedian made valid points.  He mentioned the fact the people tend to put every word into the PowerPoint that they are going to say. He also mentioned that having to many bullet points could also be a distraction as well as crowded slides and slides with a lot of graphical data.  PowerPoint in my opinion should be used as an outline and every thought that one may have should not be expressed in the PowerPoint but it should be 'hinted at'.  Being a student, there are man times were my pupils have given presentations and everything that they say is written out in the PowerPoint.  I must agree with the comedian that this is definitely "death by PowerPoint".  When its all said and done, try to refrain from being a dramatic slide user;meaning keep your slides short, simple, and sweet.
